I lived in this house since my 2nd birthday. I've been living here for twelve years and throughout the whole time I always felt like someone or something was watching me at all times. I'll tell you about the little girl.
This was one of the happenings that first caught my attention about the spirit world. This actually happened to my mom but it still affected me in a way.
It was late in the night and I was 7 years old. The same age my sister Sarah is
now. I was asleep in my new room. My parents were falling asleep in the front
room. We had been rearranging the house. My mom had been looking at the door way
when she said she thought she saw a little girl standing there in a long silk
gown, just like mine. She had thought it was me so she told me to go to bed, but
the little girl just stood there.
My
mother then got up and told me again to get to bed, but still the little girl
just stood there. As my mother walked toward the little girl she said that the
child started to turn away. Afraid something was wrong with ME, she started
following the little girl into the kitchen and around the corner. She called out
my name as the girl started to walk towards the kitchen sink and through the
wall. My mother was left dumbfounded.
We later
found out that
there had been a girl
that died in our house
around the age of 7.
Just when a person least expects it an encounter from the other side!!!

Last year I moved from an apartment that I had stayed in for about ten years. During that time since the week I moved in I have had someone knocking on my door, usually in the early morning hours between three and six AM. I would come out of a sound sleep to answer it, and no one would be there.
For the first five years or so , I always thought it was a dream or maybe the people next door that wanted a cigarette and managed to dart back to their own apt before I could open the door. I made up all sorts of explanations.
One night my brother John stayed over, this was a one room apt, So I always kept a sleeping bag on hand for anyone who wanted to crash out on the floor. About 4;30 in the morning we both woke up to some urgent, loud knocking at the door. Sure didn't expect anyone at that hour so I asked my brother to answer the door. When he opened it and found no one there he was truly puzzled, I told him it had been going on for years now, and I was so relieved to know it wasn't my imagination.
One reason he couldn't get over it , was because in Anchorage, in January, there is usually fresh snow every morning, There weren't any footprints in the new fall, he could not get over it. I also had strange things happen, like things always disappearing, and finding them in places I knew I didn't leave them. A few times an strange shadow would appear on the wall , but it never gave me a fright at all, I just thought it was sort of interesting. I keep wondering if the person who lives there now are experiencing these same things.
Peace to All, regards,
Pearl
Nestor
There are many
interesting items in this story.... The timing of the knocking is VERY
interesting... Bob & Lorraine Warren (Famous Demonologists) Stated in one
of their books that the time of 3 a.m. is popular with evil entities as it mocks
the hour the Christ died. ( 3 pm)... Many who have had hauntings report
increased activity at this hour. The knocking could be evidence of either
a poltergeist type haunt, or maybe a lost soul repeating a final act perhaps?
With apartments one never knows what type of tragedies occurred there
previously.... Great story!!

Okay well I've had Lots of experiences and ill try and get them all in here. The first one I ever had was when I was about 4 or 5 living in Mesquite Texas in a apartment complex that has since burned down and rebuilt.
It was
very early morning because I remember hearing my dad in the bathroom getting
ready for work. I was laying facing my wall and my back was to the rest of the
open room. For some reason I felt someone
behind me. When I turned over there was a small boy standing right next to my
bed smiling at me. He was completely transparent and had a kind of a bluish
light outlining him. He had definite features though and he just had this big
grin and never even blinked. We stared at each other for about 10 seconds then I
started screaming daddy daddy there's someone in my room! He came running and
flung the door open and flipped the light on and the boy disappeared.
A couple years later when I was about 6 me and my family moved across town on
Hillcrest street into a small orange and VERY creepy house. From the minute I
first saw it I had a bad feeling. My parents took me for a
little tour and first we went in the back yard and there were children's toys
all over...I couldn't understand why any kid would want to leave their toys
behind in a move. But anyway after living there about 4 months that's
when things started to happen.
The
first thing was I was in my closet playing with my dolls having a little tea
party and I suddenly felt like I
was being watched...because
I was. I looked
up and my dresser was right behind my closet door and I glanced up and through
the crack of the door and wall (were the hinges are) There was a boy about my
age sitting and
starring at me with a big smile on his face. But this one was different...no
blue light and he was totally solid...he looked like a real person...I remember
he had his ankles crossed and he was wearing gray shoes that Velcro and gray
shorts and a yellow shirt and he had his hands folded in his lap. He had kind of
sandy colored hair and big blue eyes. I pulled the door back to see him better
and he was already gone.
A little
while after that me and my dad were home alone and he was in the living room
watching a cowboys game and I was in my room playing. All of the sudden I hear a
small voice calling my name...not my real name
Kristina but by what only some people call me...kriiiiiisttiiii
kriiiistttiii....it was like it was coming from out in the hall so I when out to
investigate. I asked my dad if he was calling me and he said "uh no."
Which there's no way that was his voice. That voice gave me cold chills like
nothing else.
Now the
story that finally made my parents believe me! Once me and my mom and dad were
watching a movie when I had to go to the bathroom. The bathroom is directly
across from my bedroom and I was sitting on the
toilet with the door open when I suddenly got goosebumps like all over my scalp
and I new I was about to see SOMETHING I was like oh great. So I look up and in
my room a very tall thin woman with NO hair walks to the
middle of the room headed for my window. She was walking with her back to me and
as if she sensed me looking at her she stopped. right then I had that feeling
like when your going down a big hill on a roller coaster ya know? Then she turns
around and looks right at me, smiles and WAVED at me
then turned back and walked right through my window....she was more like the
first ghost. Totally see through with the blue light ...but I couldn't figure
out why she had a bald head.
Then one
night I was woken up by the sounds of pots and pans being thrown around and loud
cursing that I
couldn't believe I was hearing. I mean someone sounded pissed. I remember I
stood up out of my bed to go to my parents but as soon as my foot touched the
floor it stopped...just like that. The next morning I told my mom and dad what I
heard and they were like uh we didn't hear it....so one day me and my mom are in
the back yard when our elderly neighbor is outside and we start talking. I
started telling her my "wild" stories as my mom called them and I told her about
there being a bald women I've seen and about the boy and the screaming...she
kind of looked and my mom funny and said well... a few years before you folks
moved in a
women died there
of a brain tumor and she was without hair for a long while and the tumor caused
her to have violent outbursts. She said one day her husband went over because
she was tearing up the kitchen. My parents believed me after that.
They didn't know were the boy would've come from though. From that time on I've never actually SEEN a ghost but I've had many strange things happen no matter were I live. radios TVs lights come on by themselves things like that.
This story though is pretty recent and creeped me out pretty bad. So I don't live at home with my family anymore and my mom bought a new house in Lindale Texas and wanted me to come stay a weekend to see it so I'm like sure why not. I ended up staying a week and the first Monday I was there her and my step dad had to work so I was alone. I got up that morning and decided to take a bath. After the bath of coarse the restroom was all foggy and the mirror was all foggy... when I got out to dry off I looked up at the mirror and there were several small baby footprints going right across the mirror. I freaked I called my mom at work and told her and she was like. well I'll look when I get home...she fogged up the room and they didn't appear...but every time I did it I saw them.
Then one
day my mom asked me to go to the store w/ her and my step dad wasn't home so I
didn't want to be alone. We were gone about an hour and when we got home her
plants in the living room were knocked over and so we went to clean it up not
getting how that happened. When we bent down there were 3 small foot prints in
the dirt...come to find out from the previous owners a 6 month old baby girl
drowned in that bathtub.
Very interesting experiences! I would have to wonder though, how your family has managed to find real estate with so much tragedy attached to it! The little photos in the dirt and on the mirror is extraordinary! Did you have a chance to photograph them? I sure would have!!! Thanks for the story!

My encounter of a haunted house was several years ago. Not to sure what year, but was around 1992. It was in a house we had moved to in the Chisholm area. I and my husband was living with his family at the time.
It began
one day when his sister was cleaning out her closet. She had found some vodka
bottle up in the top of the closet. Not really paying any attention to it she
threw it in trash. Hours later she went to get something from her closet and
noticed the vodka bottle was back at the top. She then began for us to come to
her room being in shock as to how it had gotten back up there. She said she had
thrown it way. I didn't really know
what to say. I just thought that maybe she was playing some kind of joke.
Days later, my husband's brother was in the back room, then came to the living and said, "What?" I and my husband look at him and said, "we didn't call you". His brother informed us that he had heard his brother calling his name. I then began to think, what are these people doing, are they crazy. Until one I got to see the strange things that were going on in this house.
These
things happened in the day, as well as in the night. But one day the front door
was cracked opened I went to close it. I made sure I heard it click to make sure
it was shut. After walking away I was about four to five feet away from the
door. When suddenly the door creaked open
slowly.
I was not the only one who had seen it happen. My mother in-law seen it as well.
And no one could have opened it from the out side because
it was one of those doors that locked when it was shut and could only be opened
from the inside.
A little later my mother in-law went to turn off the lamp by turning the switch and before she could barely walk away the light came back on. We just looked at each other in surprise. On the back door it had a knob lock and one of those chains up above. Late one night we were all awaked by the dogs being in the house. The back door was standing wide open and the cabinet doors where all opened. The dogs may have been able to push the door open, but not with the chain locked on it.
Then the
last thing that had happened to me before we moved out of the house, was that
one I night I was asleep in my bed. My husband was in the living room watching
TV. I was awaked by a strange feeling I had felt something pulling at the bottom
of the sheets, and all at once I began to hear a creepy voice calling out my
name. I was scared I could not even move. I tried to call out, but I couldn't. I
don't know what was pulling the sheets or calling my name but I know there was
no one in there because I could see around the room. When I could finally get
up, I ran to the living room. And you can rest assure I never went to bed alone
in that house
again.
Now that is a creepy one! Someone or Something was going out of it's way to move you all back out of that house! Did you ever get a history on the home? Or snap any photos inside of it? If so, scan them in and send them to us! We would love to review them!
